ICICI Bank Launched India’s First digital bank Pockets

ICICI Bank, India’s largest private sector bank, has launched India’s first digital Bank on mobile phones, Pockets.This digital e-wallet can be downloaded from Google Playstore. Pockets, the digital e-wallet uses a virtual VISA card that enables the users to transact on any website or mobile application in India.


Delhi Assembly Elections 2015 Results Declared

Election Commission of India (ECI) has declared the results of Delhi Legislative Assembly election 2015. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) headed by Arvind Kejriwal secured absolute majority in the assembly by winning 67 seats in the house of 70 seats. The AAP won 54.3% of the popular votes while BJP got 32.2% and the Congress 9.7%. 2015 Delhi Legislative Assembly elections were held on 7 February 2015 to elect 70 members of the Sixth Delhi Legislative Assembly.


Economist Amartya Sen Won John Maynard Keynes Prize 2015

Economist and Nobel laureate Amartya Sen has won the newly instituted Charleston-EFG John Maynard Keynes Prize 2015. He was chosen for this award for his ground-breaking work that has profound impact on the formation of development policy worldwide and outstanding contribution to society. Amartya Sen will receive £7,500 to commission a work of art. He will also give the annual Charleston-EFG Keynes Lecture on the topic The Economic Consequences of Austerity at the Charleston Festival on 23 May 2015.
