Badminton World Championship 2015: Saina Nehwal won silver medal
Defending champion Carolina Marin Martin of Spain on 16 August 2015 won the World Badminton Championship 2015 in women’s single category held at Jakarta, Indonesia. In the final match she defeated India’s Saina Nehwal. This is the second time Carolina Marin had won this championship. Earlier she had won it in 2014 becoming first Spanish women player to win this prestigious title. Saina Nehwal is first Indian women badminton player to reach finals of Badminton World Championship. In the semifinal match she had defeated Indonesian player Lindaweni Fanetria.

Real estate listing portal Housing.com has acquired Bengaluru-based HomeBuy360, a customer relationship management software company, for $2 million or Rs 13 crore .The cloud-based a sales lifecycle management platform connects developers, agents and buyers and streamlines the entire sales lifecycle, by tracking inventory, managing customer relations and in effect drives efficiencies in their sale operations.
