China PM visit to India

On May 19, China’s PM Li Keqiang came to India for three days visit.During their visit he will meet India’s PM Manmohan Singh and discuss about some of imporant issues. Like Border Disputes i.e. China troops are entered into the Indian territory at Ladakh.This is the first overseas Mr. Li after he become the PM.


Manmohan Singh to visit U.S. in September

Manmohan Singh will visit U.S. in September of this year to increase the bilateral cooperation between two countries. Singh was given Obama’s invitation by U.S. Deputy Secretary of State William Burns during his recent visit to New Delhi.The Prime Minister’s visit to Washington could be clubbed with his tour to New York when he travels there to attend the United Nations General Assembly meetings in September.This will be Singh’s second bilateral visit to the United States during Obama’s tenure.During his visit,the two countries will discuss on economic relations and terrorism.


India, UK Signed Agreement on Health Sector

On 19 May India and Britain have signed an agreement for cooperation in the health sector with specific focus on strengthening primary health care and technological development.The agreement was signed by Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare India, Ghulam Nabi Azad and Secretary of State for Health, UK, Jeremy Richard Hunt.


Rome Masters Tennis Tournament Winners

Women’s Singles :- On 19 May Serena Williams (USA) won her fourth consecutive title of the year after defeated Victoria Azarenka from Belarus in the Rome Masters final.This is the second Rome Open title won by Serena, before this Serena won the Rome title 11 years ago in 2002.
Men’s Singles :- Rafael Nadal from spain claimed his seventh Rome Masters title after defeated Roger Federar (Switzerland ) in the final


Indian Sisters First Twins To Climb Mount Everest

On 19 May Two Indian girls have scripted history by becoming the first twins ever to climb Mount Everest together.Tashi and Nancy Malik from Dehra Dun achieved this feat by successfully reaching the world’s highest mountain peak at 8,848 meters.The duo were among other record-makers including the first women from Saudi Arabia and Pakistan who climbed the Everest on 18 May.
