Sushil Kumar and Yogeshwar Dutt Won Medal In International Wrestling
Indian famous wrestler Sushil Kumar and Yogeshwar Dutt Won Gold and Silver respectively at the International wrestling tournament held in Sassari city of Italy. London Olympics Bronze medalist Yogeshwar won the Gold medal in his new weight category of 65kg. On the other hand, two-time Olympic medalist Sushil won the Silver in his new weight category of 74kg.
Telangana Becomes India’s 29th State
Telangana became the 29th State of India with Hyderabad as its capital on 2 June 2014. With this formation, ten districts of the then Andhra Pradesh will now become a part of the Telangana. Also, the President rule imposed on united Andhra Pradesh was revoked partially. It was revoked in the newly-created State Telangana to facilitate the swearing-in of the TRS government. Chandrasekhar Rao, the chief of Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) was sworn-in as the first Chief Minister of Telanagana.
