Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe awarded with 2015 Confucius Peace Prize
Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe was on 22 October 2015 awarded with the 2015 Confucius Peace Prize by China. The prize is known as Chinese equivalent of the Nobel Peace Prize. He has chosen for his inspirational leadership and service to African independence.
Union Government cleared first batch of Urban Projects under AMRUT worth 2786 crore rupees
Union Government has cleared the first batch of projects under the scheme of Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) for 89 cities from 3 states. It was cleared by Union Urban Development Ministry by allocating 2,786 crore rupees to fecilitate development projects. The plans include 47 schemes relating to ensuring water supply connections and augmenting water supply.
