Mumbai Named Richest Indian city with Total Wealth $ 820bn

According to the New World Wealth report released on February 21, 2017, Mumbai. The financial capital of India has been named as the Richest Indian City with a total wealth of $820 billion. The South African based market research group, New World Wealth has reported that Mumbai is home to 46,000 millionaires and 28 billionaires. Mumbai is followed by Delhi at second place with total wealth of $ 450 billion and having 23,000 millionaires and 18 billionaires.

Rajasthan becomes 2nd Largest Crude Oil Producer in India

Rajasthan Governor Announced that Rajasthan has become the second largest crude oil producer in India. The oil fields in the state were producing nearly 90 lakh tonnes oil annually which accounted for 24% of the total domestic crude oil production. On the other hand, The Bombay High, an offshore oil field of Mumbai is the largest producer of crude oil in India which accounts for 50% of the total domestic crude oil production.

Former CM TR Zeliang Appointed Finance Advisor To Nagaland Govt

Nagaland State Governor, PB Acharya on 26 February appointed former Chief Minister, TR Zeliang as Finance Advisor to Government of Nagaland in the rank and status of Cabinet Minister with immediate effect. He will be entitled to pay and allowances and all other facilities admissible to a Cabinet Minister. This was stated by Cabinet Secretary Pankaj Kumar.

Vasundhara Raje inaugurates Medical project RAHAT

Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje recently inaugurated a medical project Rajasthan Heart Attack Treatment Programme (RAHAT). The programme is a ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI), a very serious type of heart attack, management Tele medicines platform that captures and transmits patient’s EKG along with clinical history from remote geographical locations to heart command center hub.


R Aswin Breaks Kapil Dev’s Record to become Highest Test Wicket Taker
Indian off spinner R.Aswin surpassed India’s former legendary all rounder Kapil Dev to become the highest wicket-taker in Test Matches. Aswin has scored 67 wickets from 10 tests in 2016-17 season played in India. Former Indian Captain Kapil Dev took 63 wickets from 13 matches in the 1979-80 season. Aswin achieved the feat when he dismissed Mitchell Starc of Australia in their first innings on the second day in Pune.
