Sachin is the brand ambassador of Apollo Tyres
Tyre maker, Apollo Tyres has appointed cricketer Sachin Tendulkar as its new brand ambassador. He will be the ambassador of Apollo Tyres for a period of five years. Apart from Apollo Tyres, he is also the brand Ambassador for BMW in India. Sachin Tendulkar was the former brand ambassador of MRF Tyres.


Bharat Electronics wins CII-Exim Bank Business Award
State-run Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) won the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)-Exim Bank Business Excellence Award and the jury’s commendation for being a role-model organisation. The award is the highest recognition in the CII-Exim Bank Award for Business Excellence, instituted by the CII and the Export-Import Bank of India to enhance the competitiveness of India Inc.


Syed Modi International Championships: Sameer Verma Won Gold, Saina Silver
Sameer Verma has won the Syed Modi International Badminton Championships, men’s singles final against China’s Guangzu Lu, to retain the title. With this win, Verma sealed his spot in the BWF World Tour Finals. However, former champion Saina Nehwal lost to Han Yue of China in women’s singles summit clash &d won silver.


NBFC Mudra loans grew faster than banks in FY18: report by MUDRA
According to the 2017-18 annual report of Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY), NBFC sanctioned Mudra loans under PMMY, grew faster than banks in FY 2018. This is the first time that the bad loan data has been released by Micro Units Development & Refinance Agency (Mudra).

Ambareesh, the Beloved Rebel of Kannada Cinema and Politics, Passes Away at 66
Veteran Kannada actor and former minister Ambareesh passed away in a Bengaluru hospital where he was being treated for multiple ailments. He served as a union minister in the UPA government led by Manmohan Singh. He was also the Minister of State in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.


26 November: National Milk Day
National Milk Day is celebrated on November 26 to mark the birth anniversary of India’s most successful dairy entrepreneur Dr. Varghese Kurien, the founder of dairy firm Amul. He served Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) from 1973 to 2006. India is the largest milk producer in the world. The per capita milk available pan India is 355 grams per day.
