India to hold 3rd World cup Kabaddi in December

Punjab would host 3rd World Kabaddi Cup from 1 to 15 December 2012. 23 countries are participating in this world cup.The prize money for this world cup is Rs.4.54 crores.

Alok Joshi new RAW chief

The Haryana cadre IPS officer Alok Joshi was appointed head of India’s external intelligence gathering agency – Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) on 27 November 2012. Alok Joshi will take charge from S.K. Tripathi on December 30, 2012.

Nobel winner and organ transplant pioneer Joseph Murray passes away

Dr. Joseph Murray, the surgeon who carried out the first successful kidney transplant and later won a Nobel Prize for his work in medicine and physiology, died on 26 November 2012 in Boston.
