Pankaj Advani Won IBSF 6-Red World Snooker Championship

Indian player Pankaj Advani created history by becoming the first player in the world to win world titles in the long and shorter formats of both billiards and snooker by pocketing the IBSF World 6-Red snooker Championship on 29 June in Sharm el-Sheikh, Eygpt. Advani defeated Poland’s Kacper Flilpiak in the final to win his first 6-Red World title and ninth overall.


K Rosaiah Sworn In As Karnataka Governor

Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah was on 29 June sworn in as the Governor of Karnataka.Rosaiah has been given additional charge after H R Bhardwaj relinquished his office on 28 June following the end of his tenure.
