Phil Ramone, Grammy Award-Winning Producer and Engineer died

Phil Ramone, the Grammy Award-winning music producer and engineer, died on 30 March 2013 in America.Ramone won 14 Grammy awards and worked with Frank Sinatra and Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney, Elton John and Tony Bennett. He produced three records that won Grammys for album of the year – Simon’s Still Crazy After All These Years, Joel’s 52nd Street and Charles’ Genius Loves Company. He was a pioneer of digital recording who produced what is regarded as the first major commercial release on compact disc, 52nd Street, which came out in 1982.


Rajan Bharti Mittal appointed President of ICC India

The Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Bharti Enterprises Rajan Bharti Mittal on 31 March 2013 appointed as the President of International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) India.ICC India is the Indian affiliate of the Paris-based ICC, the world business organisation with presence in over 90 countries.
