Mukesh Ambani is richest Indian on Forbes’ list, Carlos Slim is World richest person

As per an annual ranking published on 4 March 2013 by business magazine Forbes,  Mukesh Ambani has retained his title as India’s richest person for sixth year in a row,with networth of $ 21.5 billion.In the overall rich list of world’s billionaires, Mukesh Ambani is ranked 22nd, while the second-richest Indian Lakshmi Mittal is at 41st position with a networth of USD 16.5 billion.Mexican business tycoon Carlos Slim has topped the rankings with a networth of USD 73 billion, followed by Bill Gates (USD 67 billion), Spain’s Amancio Ortega (USD 57 billion), Warren Buffett (USD 53.5 billion) and Larry Ellison (USD 43 billion) in top five.


Record 259 Nominations For Nobel Peace Prize

 This year’s Nobel Peace Prize nominees include Pakistani teenage women education activist Malala Yousafzai, US former President Bill Clinton and US soldier Bradley Manning, who had been accused of leaking classified material to WikiLeaks. This time a record 259 nominations was received for Nobel Peace Prize, out of which fifty nominations were for organizations.This prize will be announced on October 2013.


UP minister Raja Bhaiya resigned

UP’s food and civil supplies minister Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya, who is an accused in the murder of a deputy superintendent of police, on 04 March 2013  met chief minister Akhilesh Yadav and tendered his resignation.Raghuraj Pratap Singh’s resignation was accepted by the Chief Minister.


34 years record in Test Cricket was break by  Pujara and  Vijay

 In the Test cricket between India and Australia ,the Indian players Cheteshwar Pujara and Murali Vijay pair break the 34 years record.In this match they got 370 runs for second wicket.For Indians this is the highest score in test matchs for the partnership of second wicket.Previously,in 1978  Gavaskar (182), Veng Sarkar (157) pair get a 344 runs for second wicket paternership in Kolkata.
