Lee Chong Wei, Malaysia’s Veteran world number one, captured the All-England open on 12 March with a trampling 21-12, 21-10 win over China’s first time finalist Shi Yugi. It was Lee’s fourth All-England title, which equals the achievement of Morten Frost, the Dane who is his coaching director in Kuala Lumpur. From 21 August 2008 to 14 June 2012, he was ranked first worldwide for 199 consecutive weeks as a singles player.
