White House Encouraged By Eurozone Summit

The White House on 30 June 2012 welcomed the decisions taken by European leaders to boost flagging economies,saying these are encouraging signs, even as it acknowledged that the challenges will not be resolved overnight.


US Appoints Envoy To Myanmar

For the first time in 22 years, the US has appointed its ambassador to Myanmar as part of efforts to upgrade ties with the country which has launched a slew of democratic reforms after five decades of authoritarian rule. The appointment of veteran diplomat" Derek Mitchell", who was till now the Special US Representative and Policy Coordinator for Myanmar, was confirmed by the Senate on 29 June 2012  and he is expected to leave for that country soon.


Russia, France To Jointly Build Armoured Vehicle

Russia and France will jointly build a new armoured infantry vehicle, Russian arms export monopoly Rosoboron export said. The vehicle should appear in the near future, around 18 months. We have a draft design and a model has been made," he said.  France was also interested in co-production with Russia of an armoured personnel carrier to be sold to third countries.


India-South Korea For Second Foreign policy And Security Dialogue In New Delhi

India and south korea decided t cooperate in the areas of civil nuclear energy and space, including the lauch of Korean satellites by India.Both of them met in New delhi on 28 June 2012 during their second foreign policy and security dialogue. The Indian delegation was led by sanjay singh,secretory(east)external affairs ministry, while the korean side was led by hu Ho-Young, first vice minister of foreign affairs a trade.


US Supreme Court Held US Health Care Law Constitutional

The US supreme court on 28 June 2012 , upheld the US president BARACK obama's most ambitious social legislations the Health care Law(The patient protection and Affordable care act). The Court verdict came in the davor of legistalation,made it mandatory for all American citizen to have health insurance or pay a penality. The health care legislation mainly aims at covering more than 30 millions who have not been insured. The 9-judge US Apex court headed by cheif justice John Robert held the ruling as constitutional in 5-4 ruling.
