Nawaz Sharif sworn in as Pakistan PM

On 5 June 2013,PML-N leader Nawaz Sharief sworn in as 27 Prime Minister to Pakistan. He became the first person to serve as prime minister for a third term. Mr Sharif received 244 votes in the 342-seat parliament and Makhdoom Javed Hashmi received 31 votes while Makdhoom Amin Fahim received a total of 42 votes.In 1999 Pakistan former PM  Prevez Musharaf revolt on government, so he lost the PM post. After 14 years  now he elected to the same PM post.


Susan Rice to be Obama's national security adviser

Tom Donilon is resigning as President Barack Obama's national security adviser and will be replaced by Susan Rice. Rice is the US ambassador to the United Nations. Since 2008 she played key role in giving suggestions and advices to Obama in Foreign Affaires.


Andhra Pradesh ties with MIT for  better education

Andhra Pradesh is set to sign an MOU with the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to tap its vast resources to help give the state's educational system a face lift,The MOU will help strike the education platform and open courseware of the prestigious institute located in Boston, to develop alternative learning mechanisms in the wake of serious dearth of qualified teaching professionals.


Lydia became the first Woman to be Elected to FIFA

Burundi's Lydia Nsekera became the first woman to be elected to the FIFA (The Fédération Internationale de Football Association)Executive Committee (ExCo) for a full term of four years.Lydia Nsekera is President of the Fédération de Football du Burundi since 2004 and has been a member of the International Olympic Committee since 2009.


Former Slovenia PM sentenced 2 years in prison

The two-time former prime minister of Slovenia, Janez Jansa, has been convicted of corruption and sentenced to two years in prison.Mr Jansa was accused of soliciting bribes as part of a defence deal with a Finnish manufacturer in 2006.


348 Million Internet Users Expected In India By 2017

On 5 June According to the Cisco's Visuals Networking Index (VNI) forecast (2012-17) report , India has the fastest Internet traffic growth globally and is expected to have 348 million users by 2017.In India, there will be 348 million Internet users in 2017, up from 138 million in 2012.Internet traffic in India will reach 2.5 Exabytes per month in 2017.Worldwide, by 2017, the number of Internet users will rise to 3.6 billion, which will be more than 48 per cent of the world's estimated population of 7.6 billion.


India 4th In World Steel Production

On 5 June According to the World Steel Association (WSA) data , India's rank in the world order of steel production remained unchanged at fourth slot with an output of 77.06 MT (million tonnes) steel produced in 2012.China gets first ranked in world steel production .China produced 716.05 MT in 2012.Japan produced (2nd rank) 107.02 MT and US (3rd rank) 88.07 Mt in 2012.


Vishwanath is new CMD of  FCI

On 5 June C Viswanath, 1981-batch IAS officer of Andhra Pradesh cadre has been appointed as the chairman and managing director of the public sector foodgrains distribution company – Food Corporation of India (FCI).He replaced Dr Amar Singh who demitted the office on May 28.
