A Gitesh Sarma appointed Secretary (West) in MEA

A Gitesh Sarma was appointed as Secretary (West), Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). A Gitesh Sarma’s appointment has been approved by the Appointments Committee of Cabinet. He is an Indian Foreign Service Officer (IFS) of 1986 batch. He replaces Ruchi Ghanashyam. Currently, A Gitesh Sarma is additional secretary in the foreign ministry.
