Akshay Venkatesh wins prestigious fields medal

Akshay Venkatesh, a renowned Indian-Australian mathematician, is one of four winners of mathematics’ prestigious Fields medal, known as the Nobel prize for math. Each winner receives a 15,000 Canadian-dollar cash prize.
