Donald Tusk Re-elected As President Of European Council

Donald Tusk on 9 March 2017 was appointed to a second term as president of the European Council, one of the European Union’s governing bodies. He has been serving as the president of the European Council since 1 December 2014. Before that, he served as the Prime Minister of poland from 2007 to 2014. He was the first Prime Minister to be re-elected since the fall of communism in Poland.
