Haryana Announces Pension Scheme For Journalists

On 27 May, 2017, Haryana Chief Minister Manoharlal Khattar announced following incentives following incentives for journalists at the “Swarna Jayanti Journalists Meet in Panchkula Rs.10,000 monthly pension scheme, for those who are above 60 years and have completed 20 years in the profession. A life insurance covers of Rs.10 lakh and a cashless Media claim policy of Rupees 5,00,000. Media persons, who have completed five years in the profession, who be given recognition by the state government.
