Indian Army Chief General Bipin Rawat was conferred the title of honorary General of the Nepal Army by Nepalese President Bidya Devi Bhandari. General Rawat was honoured at a special ceremony at the president's official residence ‘Sheetal Nivas’ in Kathmandu. She handed over a sword, an insignia and a certificate with regard to the honorary title to General Rawat.
