The Jammu and Kashmir agriculture minister launched an e-plant clinic service for farmers with the aim to double farmer’s income by 2022. The Department of Agriculture in collaboration with center for Agriculture and Bio sciences International (CABI) has set up 15 plant clinics in Samba, Kathua and Jammu. Under the “Plant wise” programme of CABI, 22 officials have been trained as plant doctors to diagnose various plant diseases in the Jammu region.
