K.T. Irfan Wins Bronze In Asian 20 KM Race Walk

National record holder K.T. Irfan won the bronze medal in Men’s 20 KM race walk event at the Asian Race walking Championships in NOmi, Japan on March 19,2017. The 27 year old army athlete clocked an impressive 01-20-59 to clinch the title. In Addition, Korea’s Kim Hyun-Sub took the gold medal in 1:19:50 while Georgiy Sheiko of Kazakhstan bagged the silver medal in 01:20:47. It was kim’s third consecutive gold in the event.
