Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Patanjali Research Institute at patanjali Yogpeeth in Haridwar on 3 May, 2017. An amount of 2000 crore was spent on building the patanjali Research center. The research center would do a research on forest products and produce herbal products from the same. Patanjali is one of the top brands in the country and has expanded its wings in FMCG sector after health care herbal products.
