Yuvraj Singh Launched Cancer Awareness Programme
India cricketer Yuvraj Singh’s cancer foundation ‘YouWeCan’ on 10 February joined hands with an NGO Navbharat Sewa Samiti to roll out a campaign named “Cancer Mukt Purvi Dilli” focussing on awareness, education and early detection of the disease. At the launch of the programme, Yuvraj highlighted the need for an early detection of the dangerous disease to save more lives.
South Central Railway Launched HYLITES
The South Central Railway (SCR) has launched Hyderabad Live Train Enquiry System (HYLITES) on 10 February . It is the first of its kind in India developed by South Central Railway on out-sourcing basis. HYLITES is a GPS (Global Positioning System) and GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) based smart phone application that operates on android platform. HYLITES will display real time information of the live status information like arrival, departure, platform numbers etc from Secunderabad, Hyderabad and Kachiguda stations.
