Bengaluru is Most Dynamic City in the World

The World Economic Forum (WEF)  has endorsed a ranking of Bengaluru City as the most dynamic city in the World, beating United States Silicon Valley. Hyderabad secured the fifth place in the list, a place above London, Pune (13) rose above New York and Paris, Chennai (18) beat San Francisco, Delhi (23) and Mumbai (25) secured a position much above Los Angeles and Stockholm.


2016 was the hottest year ever recorded – UN

The UN weather agency has said that world witnessed the hottest year on record in 2016, surpassing the exceptionally high temperatures of 2015. The globally average temperature in 2016 was about 1.1 degree celsius highen than the pre-industrial period, according to a consolidated analysis by the World Meteorological Organisation


Anandam Scheme Launched in Madhya Pradesh

Shivraj Singh Chouhan CM of Madhya Pradesh launches “Anandam Scheme” to help the poor and the needed person. Under this scheme the people who are economic sound can donate items for the poor people. The state government of MP has fixed the places in each district. People can donate items like frocks, jackets, sarees, blankets, utensils, books, pens, school bags, uniforms for the poor people under Anandam Scheme


Kapil Dev inducted into Legends Club Hall of Fame

Former Indian skipper Kapil Dev on 17 January 2017 was inducted into Legends Club “Hall of Fame” in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Dev was inducted in presence of former captains Sunil Gavaskar, Nari contractor and Ajit wadekar at the cricket club of India. Madhav Apte, president of the Legends Club and the former Indian cricketer, presented the honour to Kapil Dev. Dev captained the Indian team that won the Cricket World Cup in 1983 first time.

Indian Women Boxers Win 6 Medals in Serbia

Indian Women Boxers packed quite a punch at the 5th AIBA Nations cup in Ruma, Serbia notching up a rich haul of 4 gold, 9 silver and 9 bronze medals at the tournament. It features simultaneous competitions in the senior, youth and Junior Categories and  Indians made an impression in all three are groups, In all 151 Elite, 60 youth and 45 Junior Boxers took part in the event.
