Faustin – Archange Touadera is new President of central African Republic

The former Prime Minister of central African Republic Faustin Archange Touadera was declared as president after winning the second round of presidential election announced by National Elections Authority (ANE). He served as Prime Minister to central African Republic from January 2008 to January 2013.


India, Nepal signed Seven Agreements

India, Nepal signed Seven Agreements at a summit meeting during Nepal Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli six day visit to India. They signed Memorandum of understanding (MoU) on post-earthquake reconstruction assistance, strengthening of road infrastructure in Nepal, in field of performing arts, on Transit routes, on Rail Transport, Inauguration of Muzoffarpur Dhalkebar transmission line and establishment of Eminent Persons Group (EPG). India granted 250 million us dollars to Nepal for post-earthquake.


Amendments to Delimitation Act, 2002 approved by cabinet

The Union Cabinet headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave its assent to Amendments of Delimitation Act, 2002 on February 17, This is 100 Amendment in Constitution Act, 2015 and it allows introduction of election was amendment bill in 2016. The important pact signed between Bangladesh and India on 31st July 2015 as agreed to exchange 51 Bangladesh enclaves with 111 Indian enclaves by this cooch behar district in Bengal was altered. Now by this act the election commission of India will carry out delimitation on both parliamentary and assembly constituencies and enable  1400 voters of Indian enclave to poll their votes and provide voting rights for 921 citizens who are from Bangladesh.
