Daniel Ricciardo Won Belgian F1 Grand Prix – 2014
Daniel Ricciardo of Red Bull team won the Belgian F1 Grand Prix on 24 August. Australian driver Daniel Ricciardo pipped this year’s F1 leader Nico Rosberg (Germany) to second spot while third place was claimed by Williams’ Valttteri Bottas (Germany). Now Red Bull’s Rosberg has 29 points lead over his teammate Lewis Hamilton (Great Britain) for 2014’s F1 title.
Oscar-winning Director Richard Attenborough Died
Oscar-winning British film director Richard Attenborough has died at the age of 90. His greatest success was Gandhi, a film that won eight Oscars, including best picture. Lord Attenborough also won an Academy Award for best director for Gandhi. He was the President of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). Attenborough was born on 29 August 1923 in Cambridge, England.
