N.Srinivasan Appointed As The First Chairman of ICC
BCCI President-in-exile N Srinivasan has been formally appointed the first Chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC). The 52-member council elected Srinivasan as the Chairman and Bangladesh’s Mustafa Kamal as the ICC President at its annual conference on 26 June held at Melbourne, Australia.
Govt Appoints AK Dubey as new Coal India Chairman
Additional secretary A.K. Dubey has been appointed as the new Chairman of Coal India Limited. He will serve his post as an additional charge till a full-time chairman is appointed. He will serve as the Chairman for a period of three months until the new chairman of the state-owned company is duly appointed. The post of Chairman was lying vacant since May-end 2014 when the then Chairman of CIL S Narsingh Rao resigned from the post.
