Nageshwara Rao Guntur appointed as Chairperson of AERB
Union Government has appointed renowned scientist Nageshwara Rao Guntur as Chairperson of Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB). His appointment as thhe AERB chairperson will be for three years. Guntur is the chairman, Project Design Safety Committee, Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor (PFBR) and former distinguished scientist Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL).


WhatsApp Business Head Neeraj Arora resigns
WhatsApp’s Chief Business Officer Neeraj Arora has resigned from the post after 7-years in the company. His exit comes seven months after WhatsApp co-founder Jan Koum left the company. Arora had been an integral part of WhatsApp since 2011 and played a vital role in the company’s acquisition by Facebook in 2014.

ISRO to launch hi-tech imaging satellite with 30 foreign satellites
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on November 2018 will launch a hyperspectral imaging satellite (HySIS), an earth observation satellite along with 30 foreign commercial satellites from Sriharikota launch centre in Andhra Pradesh.


Mandatory Hedging cut to 70% from 100% for Foreign Loans: RBI
Central bank of India, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in consultation with the government of India, reduced the mandatory hedging provision to 70 per cent from 100 per cent. To the objective of ease the External Commercial Borrowing (ECB) norms.


Croatia wins the 2018 Davis Cup, beating France 3-1
Croatia defeated the defending champion France in the final of 2018 Davis Cup organized by BNP Paribas (Banque Nationale de Paris) for secure the title second time after 13 years. Marin Cilic of Croatia defeated France’s Lucas Pouille by 7-6, 6-3 and 6-3 in the final of Davis Cup and sealed the title for france.
