Euro Cup 2012 Begins On 8 June
European football championship 2012 commonly referred to as Euro 2012 will be the 14th european championship for national football teams organized by UEFA(Union of European Foot ball Associataion)
India Allowed Foreign Direct Investment from Pakistan
India on 8 June 2012 announced to allow foreign direct investment from Pakistan. The move is aimed at strengthening the bilateral economic relations between the two countries. The decision will also facilitate the economic integration in the South Asian region.
PetroFed Awards for 2011
The annual PetroFed Oil & Gas Industry Awards for 2011 for excellence in performance in various categories were presented by the Union Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas, S Jaipal Reddy here on 8June 2012. The awards for performance during fiscal 2010-11 were in 11 categories. The leading PetroFed award winners were Indian Oil and ONGC. Indian Oil bagged the “Leading Oil & Gas Corporate of the Year award”,the Oil & Gas Marketing – “Company of the Year award and the one for Project Management “. ONGC won the awards for Human Resources Management, Environmental Sustainability and the Innovator of the Year award by their team.
