D.R. Doley Barman on 28 February 2017 was appointed as the Director of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy, Hyderabad. At present, Barman is working as the Director of the North East Police Academy, Shillong in Meghalaya. Barman is a senior Indian Police Service Officer. A 1986 batch Jammu & Kashmir cadre, she replaces Aruna M.Bahuguna who is an Andhra Pradesh Cadre of 1979 batch.
