4th World Government Summit in Dubai
The three day long 4th World Government Summit (WGS) concluded on 10 February 2016 in Dubai,UAE. The summit was hosted by the UAE Government, the UN, the World Bank, OECD and World Economic Forum (WEF). 4500 participants from more than 130 countries attended summit and discussed challenges and opportunities for future governments in world wide and also showcased their innovations, best practice and smart solutions to inspire future challenge and also discussed humanity challenges like climate change, financial inclusion, pension sustainability, education for all, etc.And technological solutions and strategies like sustainable development goals, internet of things, virtual health, etc were done. During the summit, 2016 Best m-Government Service Award was presented to Karnataka’s Mobile One project in One Stop App category at the international level. Edge of Government report was released that captures leading edge case studies of government innovation across the world.


Arun Jaitley inaugurated the “India Investment Summit 2016”
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on 4 February 2016 inaugurated the two-day India Investment Summit 2016. The Summit is to showcase and discuss the huge long term infrastructure investment opportunities in India.This summit seeks to attract long term investors including Sovereign Wealth Funds and Pension Funds across the globe. SBI Caps is partnering with the Department of Economic Affairs (Ministry of Finance) in organizing this summit.


19th National Conference on e-governance in Nagpur
The two day National Conference about e-governance has been organized by Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances (DARPG) at Nagpur in Maharashtra. The main objective of this conference is to discus about e-governance to cybersecurity framework. About 600 delegates are participated in which 150 from Maharashtra and 250 from other states. In this 2015-16 National awards for e-governance total 18awards (10gold & 8silver) are presented. The exhibitions and brain storming sessions on e-governance are conducted with also a release of four books on e-governance.


4th India and Africa Hydrocarbons conference in New Delhi
The India Africa Hydro Carbons Conference (IAHC) was inaugurated by Minister of Petroleum and Natural gas Shri Dharmendra Pradhan in new Delhi. In this 22 African nations are participated. The main objective of IAHC is to provide a global forum and common plat form to African countries for Energy Cooperation’s. India imports about 75% of crude oil and gas.
