Film Winter Sleep Honoured with Palme d’Or Award At Cannes Film Festival
The richly ruminative Chekhovian drama ” Film Winter Sleep ” was honoured with Palme d’Or Award at the 67th Cannes Film Festival held in Cannes from 16 May to 25 May 2014. The film has been directed by Turkish director Nuri Bilge Ceylan. Winter Sleep is the second film by a Turkish director to win the highest honour of Cannes Film festival. Earlier in 1982, the film The Way directed by Turkish Directors Yilmaz Guney and Serif Goren won the Plame d’Or Award.
