Italy’s Vincenzo Nibali Won 101st Tour de France
Vincenzo Nibali of Italy won the 101st edition of the Tour de France in cycling. Nibali is the first Italian in 16 years to accomplish cycling’s greatest race. The last Italian to win the Tour de France was Marco Pantani in 1998. With this win, Nibali became the sixth man to win all three Grand Tours, the Tour de France, Giro d’Italia and Vuelta a Espana.
Daniel Ricciardo Won Hungarian F1 Grand Prix
Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo won the 2014 Hungarian Formula One (F1) Grand Prix. Fernando Alonso claimed the second spot for his Ferrari team while Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton (Great Britain) won the third place. However, the race would be remembered for Lewis Hamilton ignoring his team Mercedes’ orders to let championship leader Nico Rosberg go by. Rosberg thus finished the race at fourth place.
