John Kerry Confirmed As Secretary Of State
U.S. Senator John Kerry received enough Senate votes on 29 January 2013 to be confirmed as President Barack Obama’s new secretary of state, succeeding Hillary Clinton.At present he is the Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.This the first appointment after Obama was sworn in as President for the second time.
