President Pranab Mukherjee was honoured with the award ‘Bangladesh Liberation War Honour Award’ by Bangaldesh Government on 04 March 2013 in recognition of his contribution to the struggle that led to the birth of this nation 42 years ago.
Clashes between Malyasia and Philippines
The Malyasian forces are entered into Borneo Island at Sabah province in Philippines and open the fire. In this fire Filipino Sultan Jamalul Kiram III of the southern Philippine province of Sulu was died.So, Philippines started fire against Malyasia on 3rd March 2013. In this fire 18 peoples were died.
Deepika Kumari named ‘Sportsperson of the year’ by Tata Steel
On March 1,the woman archer Deepika Kumari was named ‘Sportsperson of the year’ by Tata Steel for her outstanding achievements.The announcement was made by Tata Steel on the occasion of 174th birth anniversary of its founder Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata.It was the third consecutive time when Deepika, who recently topped the National Senior Ranking Archery Tournament held in Hyderabad, was given the honour.
