Katsushi Inoue Is Honda Cars India’s new President & CEO

Katsushi Inoue was on 30 March appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL). He will assume charge on 1 April 2015 and succeed Hironori Kanayama who is due to retire.


Madan Mohan Malviya conferred Bharat Ratna

Noted educationist and freedom fighter Madan Mohan Malviya was on 30 March posthumously conferred Bharat Ratna, country’s highest civilian award, by President Pranab Mukherjee. His family members received the award from President Pranab Mukherjee at the glittering function held at Durbar hall of the Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi.


Adoor Gopalakrishnan Honoured with Bhupen Hazarika Award

Internationally acclaimed filmmaker Adoor Gopalakrishnan was presented with the Bishwaratna Dr Bhupen Hazarika International Solidarity Award by Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi at the function held at Guwahati, Assam.


Himachal Pradesh Govt Launched India’s First e-Vidhan Mobile apps

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh has launched part one of E-Vidhan Mobile apps. The apps could be accessed by all the members 45 minutes before the question hours on android and tablets having information about day business. With this launch, Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha became the first state assembly in the country to launch e-Vidhan Mobile apps. This e-Vidhan system will help the state to save about 8 crore rupees per annum that is spent on the paper.
