Union Government Approves National Health Policy

The Union Government has approved the National Health policy, which proposes to provide assured health services to all in the country. The policy was approved on 16 March 2017 at the meeting of Union Cabinet chaired by PM Narendra Modi in New Delhi. The policy increases to gambit of sectors covered in the Primary Health Centre (PHC) level and envisages a comprehensive approach.
