India and Peru Signed Four Bilateral Agreements
India and Peru have signed four bilateral agreements, including one on defence cooperation and another for the establishment of a Joint Commission.The other two greements were on exchange programmes in the field of education and another letter of intent for cooperation in the field of culture.These agreements were signed on 28 October at the end of Indian Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari’s three-day visit to the Latin America country.
PS Raghavan Is India’s Next Ambassador To Russia
PS Raghavan has been appointed on 28 October as India’s next ambassador to Russia At present, Raghvan, the IFS of 1979 batch is serving as the current Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).He will succeed Ajai Malhotra, who will retire on 30 November 2013.
